Privacy notice

PlugTally can be used without creating an account. Guest calculator inputs, the saved electricity price, basket, planner, recent calculation history and interface preferences are stored in the browser on the device being used.

PlugTally accounts

If you create an account, Supabase provides email-and-password authentication, account sessions and password recovery. PlugTally receives your email address, first name, optional marketing choice and the data you choose to save. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not displayed to AVH Digital Ltd.

Signed-in users may save basket items, planner information, preferences, electricity price and recent calculation history to their private account. Database security rules are configured so authenticated users can access only rows linked to their own user ID.

Email address and recovery

PlugTally checks that the address has a valid email format when an account is created. Password-recovery emails are sent only when requested, so users should register with an address they can access. The email address is used for account administration and, only where separately selected, occasional PlugTally marketing updates.

Marketing choice

Creating an account does not require marketing consent. If you select the optional marketing box, your name, email and consent choice may also be stored through the PlugTally Netlify sign-up form so updates can be managed. You can withdraw that choice using the contact form or an unsubscribe option provided in future marketing emails.

Contact and sign-up forms

Netlify processes information submitted through the contact and email-update forms. Form submissions are not needed to use the calculators. AVH Digital Ltd should periodically review and remove information that is no longer required.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 loads only after analytics consent is accepted. Analytics events are designed to use page, calculator and broad interaction information rather than names, email addresses, free-text messages or full calculation details.

Keeping or deleting data

Signed-in users can clear saved PlugTally basket, planner and history data from the account dashboard. Signing out clears account-linked data from that browser while keeping the cloud copy available for the next sign-in. Use the contact form to ask about account deletion or other privacy matters.

Service providers

PlugTally currently uses Netlify for hosting and forms, Supabase for account authentication and cloud-saved account data, and Google Analytics where analytics consent has been accepted.
